Teachers and instructors are noted for vast amounts of
knowledge, expertise and wisdom. The instructors at Press-A-Print University
are no different. Occasionally a star instructor will make a cameo appearance
as in the case when the class of July 24, 2007 met a new operator Megan from
Florida, an expert on the Twisted Pen Factory.
There is only one major unique highlight about this
instructor. Megan is only nine years old.
Jim and Diane came to training in Idaho Falls accompanied by
their daughter Megan. Investing in their future, they added the Kids In
Business portion, consisting of 3 Button Machines and the Twisted Pen
Factory, for Megan.
When Megan received her Twisted Pen Factory, she read the directions and then found the best ways to produce Twisted Pens.
While at Training, Megan stole the show when she shared several unique methods of producing pen shaped designs. If the grown-ups didn’t get it she would tell or show them how to do it. For many of the new Operators this was one of the highlights of training.
Megan's Budget
30% Back Into BusinessOne of the greatest benefits of The Press-A-Prints Kids In Business Package is that Megan and all other children will learn how to operate and manage a business as well as budgeting money.
By having Megan do her part of the business, people have become intrigued about what else Jim and Diane do. As a result, new business has developed.
All this and the fact that families can work together towards a common goal are just some of the perks of becoming a Press-A-Print Operator.
Press-A-Print is proud of the children who enjoy working and learning and the parents who take the time to teach the future business leaders of America, like Megan.
Hey Jeff and
Don:
A while back I walked into a restaurant
and gave my card to the owner and told him that I was in the business to grow
his business. An offer to provide shirts and jackets led him to ask
if I could do a sign for him. I said yes, of course since I had purchased the
vinyl cutter in training. It is an invaluable tool as it comes to truly being a
full service supplier for our clients.
Final order for this Job was 1 – 15’x 3’
sign and 2 – 8’ x 7’ signs, 20 caps and 20 visors and orders for shirts when he
needs them next. ($1300.00 and I found out later I should have charged more and
he would have gladly paid it.) As it turns out he is opening 15 - 5 Buck Pizza
franchises in Northern Nevada and I am now his
uniform supplier and “sign guy.” He also submitted my ESP Center stage presentation to the corporate
office and they are considering using me for their company
supplier.
Thank you so much for helping me to get set up in a truly
successful home based business!
